Alpharetta, GA (July 20, 2015) – Sally Dillehay, Ed.D, OD, MS, Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Visioneering Technologies, Inc. (VTI), has been recognized by Vision Monday as one of the Most Influential Women in Optical for 2015, in the Executive Suite category.
For the past 13 years, Vision Monday, one of the top publications in the optical industry, has sought to recognize female executives who shape the direction of the companies and organizations for which they work and lead. Dillehay was selected by her peers from a distinguished panel of nominees for her extensive industry leadership over the past 25 years. This year’s winners join a distinguished group of more than 400 influential women, whom Vision Monday has profiled since 2003.
The award is open to women who hold the positions of President, CEO, CFO, CMO, CIO or COO and who “…guide their companies forward, inspire leadership among their teams and peers, and achieve high performance.”
Dr. Dillehay is highly regarded not only within her organization, but also in the field of optometry and vision care, having served in a number of leadership roles at leading vision care companies. She also served as Chief of Clinical Services and Assistant Professor at (the) Ohio State University, is a frequent author of peer-reviewed clinical articles, and is a frequent speaker at top vision care industry conferences.
