Business Policies and Procedures


1.  Customer Policy

In order to help promote the safety and integrity of our products, VTI products will be sold only to licensed Eye Care Professionals that provide direct patient care to those patients for whom the products are ordered.


2.  How to Order

VTI currently utilizes Mid-South Premier Ophthalmics (MSPO) as the distributor of our products. To order VTI products, Eye Care Professionals must be an authorized VTI account and have a current and valid Mid-South Premier Ophthalmics (MSPO) account number. To set up a MSPO account number, call 1-877-700-0914 to speak with a MSPO customer service representative.  

Once a VTI Account is set up with MSPO, there are multiple convenient ordering options:

3.  Shipping Charge – Revenue Lenses 

Shipping charges shall mirror MSPO’s current shipping policy.


4.  Patient Home Delivery – Doctor Direct to Patient Shipments

For patients personally seen in the Eye Care Professional’s practice, the ECP may authorize lens orders to be shipped directly to a patient’s home or workplace, provided that VTI reserves the right to refuse any such direct shipments to patients in states whose laws prohibit or restrict direct shipments by non-resident manufacturers. VTI further reserves the right to perform an audit of patient direct orders to assure that the orders shipped are within compliance. When the ECP places an order for an annual supply of lenses to be shipped directly to the patient, VTI will provide this shipping free to the ECP.


5. Trial Lenses

When Trial Lenses are ordered separately from revenue lens orders, applicable MSPO shipping charges will be applied. Trial Lenses are only intended for trial fitting of patients. Eye Care Professionals may not: a) sell Trial Lenses, b) substitute Trial Lenses for revenue lenses, or c) give Trial Lenses away at no charge as product or practice promotions. VTI reserves the right to discontinue providing Trial Lenses at any time.


      6.  Returns and Exchange Policy

        Only VTI product purchased directly from VTI through its Distributor MSPO, may be returned or exchanged through the Distributor under the MSPO returns policy. Returned products should be sent by a prepaid, traceable method, in order to avoid problems caused by non-receipt of goods. A complete MSPO contact lens return form is required to be completed for all VTI product returns. Accounts returning products in quantities in excess of quantities purchased may have their return privileges revoked.


          7.  Billing

            • All orders for VTI products are to be placed directly through MSPO.
            • MSPO will invoice the VTI accounts at the prices in effect at the time of the order placement
            • Invoicing, billing statements, shipping, and credit policies are as determined by MSPO


              8. Defective Lenses and Adverse Effect Reporting

                Any product associated with a complaint, including adverse events, must be returned in order to comply with FDA regulations. If a patient experiences any product defect or adverse effect associated with the use of any VTI® contact lens product, please immediately notify the VTI Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sally Dillehay, by telephone at 770-596-5417 or by email at


                  9.  Contact Lens Consultation

                    Consultants provided by VTI’s Distributor will be available from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to answer any fitting, technical, or medical product inquiries from Eye Care Professionals at 1-800-735-6662.
