Dr. Stephen Snowdy, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Snowdy is a scientist, serial entrepreneur, and early-stage medical venture capitalist.  He is the CEO of Visioneering Technologies, Inc. (Atlanta); Chairman and CEO of a Phase-2 osteoarthritis company, Calosyn Pharma (Atlanta and Louisiana); and is managing a new cancer drug startup out of Emory University and Georgia Tech. Dr. Snowdy is also a project manager for the Wallace H Coulter Foundation, where he reviews translational grants for several universities; and is a faculty member of the Coulter College, a translational and entrepreneurial medicine program.  Dr Snowdy simultaneously earned a PhD in Neurobiology and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, where he also completed two years of post-baccalaureate study in cardiopharmacology.  Dr. Snowdy's academic training followed service in the United States Navy Special Forces.
Dr. Sally M. Dillehay, Chief Medical Officer, Vice-President - Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Dr. Dillehay brings almost 30 years of experience with clinical development to her position as Chief Medical Officer, Vice-President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Visioneering Technologies, Inc.  In addition to being the driving clinical force that brought VTI designs into reality, her respected position in the medical community and as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Diplomate in the Academy's Section on Cornea, Contact Lenses & Refractive Technologies, has allowed her to understand the unique needs of the eye care practitioner and the patient to refine products that work for them both.  She has also led extensive clinical trials to successful completion as Director of Medical Marketing & Clinical Claims Research with CIBA Vision (Novartis), and has served on the faculty at The Ohio State University as Chief of Ophthalmic Prescription Services and Assistant Chief of Optometric Services.  Dr. Dillehay earned an EdD in Organizational Leadership and Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University after finishing her OD and MS degrees in Optometry and Physiological Optics from The Ohio State University, College of Optometry.
Tony Sommer, Senior Vice-President – Sales & Marketing
Tony is a proven commercial leader and results-driven executive. As the Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Tony is focused on delivering innovation to the marketplace by leveraging his 20 years of organizational leadership and product launch skills with major multinational companies such as General Mills, Coca Cola, Novartis, Bausch + Lomb and Meda Pharmaceuticals, as well as startup SoloHealth. Tony has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from Oklahoma City University and is a decorated combat veteran of both Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.


Rosa Lee, Executive Director of Engineering & Manufacturing

Rosa is a seasoned, passionate and detail-oriented professional with over 16 years of product development and optimization experience with companies such as Bausch + Lomb, Synergeyes and Corning where she helped develop innovative technologies and improvements in design. As Executive Director of Manufacturing & Engineering, Lee will direct the manufacturing and product optimization efforts for the company. Lee received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Rochester in Optics and Biomedical Engineering and is Six Sigma certified. 
Layna Mendlinger, Executive Director of Marketing
Layna is an experienced brand marketer with expertise in new product development - from concept to operationalizing to commercialization.  Her strong leadership skills and history of providing strategic and executional direction to cross-functional teams has played a large role in moving Visioneering Technologies from startup to commercially available product.  Layna brings to VTI her 25+ years of knowledge of consumer and professional marketing (particularly with a technology focus), new product strategy, development and launch, global marketing, project management and leadership.  Before joining VTI, she worked as Senior Director of New Product Development at Exide Technologies and Global Director, New Product Development & Innovation at CIBA Vision (Novartis).  Layna holds a BA from the University of Georgia and a Brand Marketing Certificate from Emory University, Goizueta School of Business.


Tracy S. Wentworth, Director of Quality
Tracy has worked in the quality arena since 2000, supporting all things quality - from auditing and calibration to risk assessments and validation.  Her experience is primarily working with medical devices, but also includes OTC and cosmetic products.  She spent the majority of her career at CIBA Vision (Novartis), with quality roles in manufacturing, regulatory, and R&D.  Tracy earned her BA in Health Science from Kalamazoo College and MS in Quality Assurance from Southern Polytechnic State University.
Amy G. Price, Director of Logistics
Amy designed and developed information systems for the first phase of her working career.  The majority of her career was spend at American Management Systems, Inc. and Advanced Decision Systems designing and developing a wide range of information systems for a variety of government agencies.  Amy now specialized in the logistics of clinical research, contact lens product launch and distribution networks.  She holds a BS in Computer Science from Brown University.
Penny Northcutt, Regulatory Consultant
Penny has over 30 years real-world industry experience in Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs.  She understands the need to balance business growth and regulatory compliance. With a creative yet practical approach to registration activities and quality management system construction, she has been instrumental in bringing VTI forward.  She has a BS in Management Information Systems from Mercer University, holds an AD in Optometric Technology from Southern College of Optometry and has trained as a Paralegal (ABA - Litigation Specialty from the National Center for Paralegal Training.
